Privacy Policy
Effective September 6, 2026
This explains what Agent Chef, operated by User Kind (Colorado, USA), collects, why, and who else sees it. The short version: we collect what's needed to run a shared meal-planning household, we don't sell it, and we don't use it to train AI.
What we collect
- Owner account: your email address, used to sign you in and to send account and billing emails.
- Household members: the names, and optionally phone numbers and email addresses, that the owner enters so members can receive their vote link. Members don't create accounts.
- Household activity: recipes, votes, comments, ratings, preferences, pantry items, shopping lists, and the messages the service sent, so everyone sees the same ballot and your agent can plan next week.
- Billing: Stripe processes payments. We store a Stripe customer ID, your plan, and subscription status. We never see or store card numbers.
- Technical: standard server logs (IP address, browser, timestamps) kept briefly for security and debugging. One session cookie keeps you signed in. On the public pages we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and aggregate only (page views, referrers, countries); it doesn\u2019t identify or track individuals. We use no advertising trackers.
Your AI agent
You connect your own AI agent with an API key. When your agent calls Agent Chef, we send it your household's data (preferences, ballots, votes, comments, pantry) so it can do its job. That agent is run by you under your agreement with its provider (for example Anthropic or OpenAI); we don't send your data to any AI provider ourselves, and we don't train models on your data.
Services we rely on
- Supabase hosts the database and application (United States).
- Cloudflare serves agentchef.net and protects it.
- Stripe handles payments and billing emails.
- Pexels supplies stock photos; we send it recipe titles to find a matching picture.
- If a household turns on text or email delivery, Twilio or Resend deliver those messages to the members' numbers or addresses.
Each processes data only to provide its service to us. We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it with anyone else except to comply with the law.
Children
Household members are often kids. Owners are responsible for deciding what to enter about them; we suggest first names only. We don't knowingly collect information directly from children under 13. If you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it.
Retention and your choices
We keep household data while the household exists. Owners can edit or remove members, recipes, and preferences at any time in Settings, and can request export or deletion of the whole household by emailing support@agentchef.net; we complete deletions within 30 days. Members can ask the owner or us to remove their details. Logs are deleted within 30 days.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted to what the service needs, and API keys are stored hashed. No system is perfect; if we learn of a breach affecting you, we'll tell you promptly.
Changes and contact
If this policy changes materially we'll email household owners and update the date above. Questions or requests: support@agentchef.net.
